再过几天就要回家了~今年已经没有像去年那样兴奋了~

还是老话一句：我是要回去给妈妈看的~

今年应该可以看到很多朋友了~就重要是大部分都会有假期~可以好好的聚一聚了~

顺便一提，今天我又跑去唱K了~哈哈~虽然是唱到没声了~不过偶尔也是要挑战极限的~（比如说，发如雪升两个key唱~）哈哈，真的会死的~不过挺好玩的~

Talent Night '08

It all happen before like 1 month before the real talent night, when i was asked to perform a song during talent night~

Initially i was requested to perform a song called "Lydia" by FIR~but then come to think of it, it was actually a mission impossible to me. Just simply because i cant really reach the high pitch of 飞with my voice now already, not even with the fake 1~Anyway, i did tried before, practicing with Nat for a time to see whether can we perform together or not. I planned to let her sing the chorus and i will sing the verse. But then in the end, it turned out not to be a good one. Instead of letting Nat practice , i sort of let her listen to my theory of singing~haha~sorry Nat~but then it was fun chit chatting with u that night...=p

So after that night, "Lydia" was definitely out of my list d~(anyway, if u still want to listen to my 走音版的 "Lydia", u will be able to hear me sing it in KTV just to entertain people~haha) Now i would have to find a new song to perform in less than a month, given the fact that i know i would not have that much time to practice.

After all, i have chosen "知足“ and ya~it is a chinese song~haha~i dunno y quite a lot of my frenz asked me y chinese song~mm~i guess i just know how to sing in chinese?perhaps~haha~and i personally like this song very much~(Me myself is a Mayday fan as well~=p)And i kinda realise that i have around 2 to 3 weeks to prepare~looks like i will have more than enough time since i already know that song~it makes things easy. Basically i will just need to print out the lyrics~mark out all the places within the song for me to 换气, mark out all the high pitch words and sentence, mark out the important words that i will like to sort of "stress" , 处理尾音, watch the mv of the song, write out a draft story of the song so that i will have more 画面 to sing it, then watch a lot and a lot of their live performance and watch other people performing this song also. That is basically the initial stage of the preparation.

Later on, what i need to do is just practice the song word by word, just to make sure that i get the pitch correctly. word by word, then sentence by sentence, and then paragraph by paragraph. Well this is mostly what i did for the rest 2 weeks~keep practising~

The final part of practice was the hardest. I have to think of how to create some dynamic for the song and also 唱的有感情, and also roughly arrange 舞台上的走位. Well, all these was not really that hard.But then i was kinda worried with my consistency when im up stage. It was obvious that i wont be able to perform like what i can sing at home~say if i want a 100% peformance on stage, i will need to be able to give out 150% at home~which is kinda hard for me. I believe those that went up stage before will understand what im talking about.

And the practice goes on..........

So bascially shit happens the night before talent night. The night before talent night, i got to know that im having a workshop training tomorrow. At that moment, i was like " how am i suppose to rehearse then?" because the workshop starts from 830am till 500pm.That basically takes up my whole day d~And then, on that night too, im sort of cafein overdoesd~went hang out with CK from welly and i ordered 鸳鸯奶茶 extra large. Tea plus coffee~打孖上~so i din sleep for the whole night~

But then i did sleep for an hour~which is after my workshop~i slept from 6pm till 7pm and the talent night starts on 730pm....haha~Im so worried that im going to screw up cos i just woke up~and my voice sounds like a duck~thanxs gloria for listening to me for 5 minutes when im 开声-ing before the show starts~

So basically i din rehearse and din sleep the night before~haha~pretty impressive that i still can perform~It was good and i enjoyed it~haha

Last day in UTP

Awesome sunday~my last day in UTP, i really feel myself becoming half utpian d during these few days~went to ipoh for brunch~since all of us wake up late that morning~Thanx again KH for letting me to hold ur key n stay there until sunday~really appreciate it~owe u 1 round~haha

we went for brunch in Nam Heong, so call the founder of famous white coffee and egg tarts~the egg tarts is nice i would say( or else how can ppl be so famous la~haha)Thought of meeting xtine up~but then she is having her church service~and in the end i din meet her~haha

After brunch we went to Jusco in ipoh for a movie~before that, shopping for Ian they all and i jz "accompany" them and give opinions nia~i shopped too much in kl d~cant spend too much~or else i would get broke very fast 1 le~

Rambo 4 starts around 130 and the movie is just awesome~lots of shooting and killings(dunno y i keep laughing when i saw the army or civilians blood splashed out~thanx to stephen chow~im immune to those bloody scene)

After that, we just hang around the mall~something was going on at the ground floor~the "jue dui superstar" contestants are having an event there~their voice is alright i guess(but then live perfomance~i cant expect perfect pitch right?haha)

So i depart from medan gopeng at 1800...finally~my trip is over~yet so fun there~it is really unexplainable~words cannot really explain my feelings anymore~frenz in UTP are just AWESOME!!!!

2nd day in UTP

2nd day, friday in UTP, people there wake up so early~y so many 8am class 1?i went from ian's room to KH's room around 750am, and every1 is like rushing to class,but then im walking steadily and reading a book,luckily din bang anyone...(sorry la, but then i still havnt brush my teeth n wash my face that time..haha...all my toiletries are in KH's room)

went back there~getting myelf clean-up~then went to 10am class with KH,safety class for chemcial students...really boring..the lecturer actually got a bit ss(syok sendiri) lo~all the jokes are quite lame and i still think that the teachings is not that pro..although i would say that the class interaction is a bit ok la~but then come to think of it~engineering class not so pro, what for i go right?i even told KH that if this is my engineering class, i would have disappear within half an hour d~(i really dunno how i survive there for 2 hours)The lecturer at last says that "later still got 1 hour class after friday prayer"~then i was like "come on~so boring~i wont come liao lo"haha

went to eat lunch in v4 cafe i guess~food there is alright~no expectation then no disappointment~haha~went for debate discussion again in the afternoon~and spend my afternoon there with CH1,MF and CH2~( so many ppl initial same 1?swt~)then sleep for a while after that~

finally went out to tronoh for pasar malam~but then rather small la~like a street only~the 1 that opposite my house is even bigger than the tronoh 1~haha~went with LT eat laksa onli~ooo~then went around and meet with some chemical guys~and they intro me with 1 food~they call that paku-pakis la~but then i still think that it is actually"yu-hu-eng-chai"haha~

I went for the junior Chinese Gathering with some frenz~(they say wan to go see guls la~im jz too bored~haha)nothing much interesting on the juniors actually~but then i met a final year student who had jz came back from Sudan for intership..so i chit chat with him for quite sometimes.i guess it is really a good experience for him~super awesome!games on that night are abit lame~cos i thought it would be more like ice-breaking(and it is not easy to make every1 to participate)4get to mention 1 thing, i met 1 gul,who i thought she is actually final year student~(she looks bit like IC~haha)i get stunned for a while when she told me she was born in 89..(walaoeh,same age with me 1 lo~but then why....)haha~the below part cannot be written out~or else she's gonna scold me liao~sorry ya YP~=p~but then i think you are cute la~haha~does that helps???

went to mamak during that late night~the nearest mamak is like few km away from uni~if u plan to walk there~it would be like infinity~haha

3rd day in UTP

wake up in the morning n have my breakfast with LT in tronoh~the kuan lo mee is kinda nice i would say~(probably cos im hungry oso~haha)spend my whole morning with LT in tronoh,her car and also v4 common room~it was a memorable time since both of us really share a lot of thoughts and opinions~

But then come to think of it, my weakness of "forever-vulnerable-to-gul's-tears" still exists~haha~cant help it~it is super easy for guls to control me~as long as they cry~(but then kenot used too many times i guess, i immune things quite fast gua~=p)It's really good to have share stuffs with you,LT*winks*

Then after that, we went to kampar together~since we really have nothing to do~haha~pathetic~UTP to kampar takes around 40 minutes nia~so it's really east for her to go back home during weekends~we end up eating laksa AGAIN in "stall 36"~oya,still got "zhao-yun"(canto)(some sort of fried balls i guess) and coconut water "ye-cheng"=p

went back to her house for a while and then we left around 1600.4get to mention bout it, the debate team went to USM for friendly match on this early morning, and ah bong says he have no time to entertain me~so i end up so boring~haha

We went to Pusing for pasar malam(AGAIN!) on that night...n i saw the same laksa uncle who i saw previously in Tronoh pasar malam again!!!!Pusing pasar malam is bigger~but then it is quite weird~cos there are 4 same "lok-lok" stalls there~somemore 4 of them stays in different corner~

Another interesting stuff here, i bought soya bean drink from a stall, n it costs me RM1.10, but then it is like super huge size 1~i cant even finish it~really scary~how the hell they made profit from it?(although they add a lot of water inside la~but then still.....RM1.10...*doink*)

The funniest thing happens at night~NY and LT were planning to pinjam motosikal from frenz so that we can go jalan-jalan around uni~but then when it comes to the time, LT suddenly told me that she lost the key~so we end up searching for the key rather than jalan-jalan(can say jalan-jalan oso la~jz that we are with torchlight nia~haha)The searching team increases from 4 people to 8 people in the end~(maybe UTP people really have nothing to do i guess~haha)We joke a lot during the "searching" session~LT's frenz, JL was so so so funny~both of us shouted the same sentence at the same time when LT told us that her frenz doesn't has the spare key~(Hi-5,JL, haha~)

So, my "dun-want-to-sleep-early-on-last-night" wish comes true

Supermarket in my life

Supermarket( or maybe hypermarket) plays an important role in my life...basically, i will need to go at least 1 time in 1 month~especially when there is super gigantic offer....

But then it's quite fun la~cos most of the time I would be the "大咖“(means dua-ka in hokkien, or u can say big customer la)getting 2 trolleys and stuff it with everything looks cool. Everyone will be like looking at me n my mum and thinking "walaoeh~crazy 1 these people"

like for 2day, went to tesco around 1630 cos my mum says that 2day is the last day offer for 100-plus. So went there n took around 13 cartons or 100 plus +7 cartons of coke+ some other lili-lala punya stuffs~finally 2 trolleys are full~and the results is 500+....haha

but then just feel not very conformable when people keep staring at me lo~sienz~whatever la~i just enjoy being "大咖“...=p

My journey to UTP~1st day

After making several calls and arrangement, i finally put my foot in t"toronto" for the second time. But then what i like about the planning of this trip is, i only ask several questions:

"Got place to stay ar?"
"Got gua, i ask for you la?"
"Then got transportation ar?i dun wan to walk so far 1 ar..."(still very lazy, but then you cant blame me, malaysia is too hot d..=p)
"Got la got la,i drive down also lo"
waaaaaaaa,*gamdong*
"ok la, if you can get me accommodation and transportation, i will go la"
(Sorry guys, but then i think Manglish rockz!!)

And thats the prologue i guess........

Then i took bus to ipoh after staying in kl for few days~(basically i went there for shopping and i really shop a lot,quite impress by myself=p)After reaching ipoh, i thought there must be someone waiting for me there already.

So LT and NY reached ipoh around 1630(remarks here, LT claimed that she lost her way, thats what makes her to be late, n NY cant drive~haha)By the time i reached UTP, it's about 5 something near 6 already.

And finally i found KH and went up to his room to put my stuffs~Then they said wanted to go out n eat,a place called bali(remarks again, not Indo's Bali Island, it's kampung baru bali)
They told me that's the only chinese shop with reasonably good food within the radius of 1km of uni. But then too bad~when we reach there, there were too many people...the juniors are celebrating some1's bday,and later of this night, i end up helping that bday gul celebrate her bday twice .haha~quite fun~the only thing is im quite sick of singing the bday song again nia..=p

Then i sit at the so call "seniors table" and had my 1st dinner in the journey.Oya,almost 4get to mention, in that restaurant, there were some uncles and aunties singing home-style karaoke.As what i said, it's home-style karaoke, so it is supposed to be "perform" in owns home,rather than coming out and scared me~haha(sorry auntie, ur pitching is really bad and uncle,u sing the wrong key liao)

Later of that night, i went to debate discussion with KH. He already helped me to do publicity,giving me a title as" the debater that came back from NZ"*doink* I havnt debate for so many years liao~i actually told him not to even mention that i was involved in debate last time,but then too bad,i guess it's too late.

So i sat down and give some opinions during the discussion. They are really cute and nice...But then i end up giving them some harsh advice(i still think it is kinda of harsh)

"you speak too fast d~next time when u read, try to hold on for a second when u see punctuation, that will do d"
"you shake ur hand and body too often d~very obvious that you feel insecure~next time u can hold a pen and jz swing it gently in order to make u feel secure, and in that way it is much more natural"
"you got slang~so try to avoid it"
"you basically have no problem, jz that dun owas throw out facts, try to think of the ways to actually counter back the opponents"

wow~as if im very pro like that(nah, im jz a super noob debater onli)

When it's reaching 2300, we help one of the debaters aka the bday gul aka MF to celebrate her bday, so i ate a piece of cake.After that, i went to look for ah bong and chit chat for a while~then he asked me to go down as well~intro me with quite a numbers of guls(wonder y guls onli ar ah bong?),guls that "when i could remember her name then i would 4get her face" or vice versa~haha~not easy to remember everything in jz like 10 minutes~unless that gul is really unique la~otherwise sorry la~it's not my fault~they were actually having a "surprise" party for MF(well, i think she should know also d~haha) So i end up helping her to celebrate her bday twice

After that i go jalan jalan wif LT n NY,basically we jz walk around blindly~n i dun even remember where have we been~

A good news came in that time, Ian says that i can stay in his room cos his roommates is not around and asked me not to mention about it~(oppps,sorry) I end up sleeping on a bed~swang~

So i slept around 2 gua~and still waiting for more fun fun stuffs the next day in UTP n Tronoh~~=p

Practical Work!!

My practical work started this december~busy nia~~no time to update my blog oso~btw, my house telephone cable is stolen oso d~so cant really on9 for quite a while~=p

My practical work as a maintainence trainee is a bit confusing 1 lo actually~have to do maintanence and engineering stuffs.So sometimes i am a mechanics, a technician, and also an assistant engineer for sometime~confusing nia~but then quite fun~really do a lot of things~~

Dunno when is the next time i update my blog d~=p

Food Chain~

Those are the sequences of the food that went into my stomach right after i reach malaysia~

1. Char Yin-Yong
Location: Pandan Jaya, KL
Nothing really fancy there~just went to had my supper~y is it the 1st food ever is char yin-yong?i have no idea

2. Zhu Cheong Fan(kari+sweet sauce style)
Location: Pasar Pandan Jaya, KL
The zhu cheong fan there is awesome~~miss that food for so long d~

3. octopus+ Crab Porridge
Location: Ching He Restaurant, Nibong Tebal, Perak
OMG OMG~~people, if u really love crab, please contact me and lets go to have a big bowl of crab porridge with the eggs still in the crab......LEGEND----wait for it----DARY

4. Char Mi Suar
Location: Opposite my house de kopitiam~(to be exact,Lian Ni kopitiam, since there is at least 4 kopitiam right opposite my house)
I wonder how the uncle can fry until i love it so much. Among all Char-food, Mi Suar is the hardest i would say.It really needs very geng skills,if not it would only end up hangus or stick on the wok nia.Btw, Char Mi Suar is a very famous delicacy of hakka people if im not mistaken( not 100% sure).Therefore, next cooking to learn:---->CHAR MI SUAR!!!!

5. "LOR" DUCK
Location: My Popo's house
My popo's lor duck is always so delicious~hehe~yumyum~swang!

Coming soon: Roti canai, laksa, kari mee with extra pig skin, wonton mee(with skillful uncle), and of course, long-time-no-see 100 plus~hehe
